Step 1: Getting Started

What to DoCreate or modify a gallery. Tabs on this panel include: Start: Select the "Create a new web gallery" button, or select the "Modify an existing web gallery" and browse to find your gallery file. Activation: This tab is a new product improvement and does not appear on this panel screenshot (see note below). Click on the Activation tab in your Shozam program for registration information. Step 2: Manage Images

What to DoAdd and manage images and media. Tabs on this panel include: Image: Add, remove and arrange images. Add album description. Video: Add, remove, arrange and preview video clips. Audio: Add, remove and preview an audio file for selected images. Text: Enter short captions or long descriptions for images. Map: Include a Google Map to show locations for your images. Sell: Add a PayPal shopping cart to your Shozam gallery. HTML: Enter custom code to add "comments" or other widgets. What to DoCreate and manage albums. Tabs on this panel include: General: Add, remove, arrange and modify albums. Options: Use the "Info page" feature to add an "About Us," "Bio," or other text page. Add music to an album slideshow, and more. Thumbnails on the left are representative album "covers" for each of your albums. ![]() The Option tab on this panel is available in Shozam Express and higher editions. |

What to DoChoose a theme or a "look" for your gallery. Tabs on this panel include: General: Select a built-in theme from the drop down menu or browse online for more themes to download and install directly into your Shozam program. Customize: Use the Theme Editor to customize any theme. The Preview window lets you see changes as you make them. ![]() The Customize tab on this panel is available in Shozam Advanced and higher editions.

What to DoSet global defaults and generate your gallery files. Tabs include: Generate: name your gallery and generate gallery files. Link: Enter optional text and link it to other web pages or to email. Label: Hide or rename nagivation labels for your gallery. Image: Set gallery defaults for file compression; display EXIF data. Protect: Watermark your images; disable right click. Tag: Add search engine optimization keywords and descriptions. What to DoEnter FTP upload information and upload your gallery. Tabs on this panel include: Upload: Select your preset from the drop down menu and upload your gallery with the click of a button. Click the "Promote" button, and Shozam generates a widget code snippet that you can embed on a web page like your blog or MySpace page. Presets: Add and save your webhost FTP settings. They will appear in the drop down menu in the Upload tab. You can also test your connection prior to upload to ensure your settings are correct. |
